2016 Harvest Festival

The 2016 Harvest Festival was a great success with something for everyone, young and older alike. There was the making of Apple Cider with many participants taking part in the cutting up the apples, grinding into a mush, pressing to obtain the Apple juice and then straining and filling the the one quart containers.  The volunteers began with about 1000 Honey Crisp apples and converted them to about 80 one half gallon containers of Apple Cider.

There were games, apple bobbing for the kids, a cake walk and of course sharing good food with a potluck lunch. There was a chili contest with many entrants and Gregg Jacot reclaiming his title after a one year absence.
